Cleveland Cavs DFS Spin

Darius Garland accounted for 18 points (6-of-12 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, 11 assists, two blocks, and three 3-pointers in Sunday's 118-93 win over the Raptors. Garland, who played 34 minutes in Sunday's rout, recorded his 16th double-double of the season and first since February 2 vs. Memphis. He shot the ball well during the three-game losing streak that Cleveland ended on Sunday, averaging 27.3 points, 1.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.3 steals, and 2.7 3-pointers, making 52.8% of his field-goal attempts. But the struggles of a few teammates hurt Garland in the assist category, which was not the case against Toronto. He and the Cavaliers will only play two games in Week 19, beginning Wednesday against the East-leading Celtics.

Boston Celtics DFS Spin

Jayson Tatum shot 6-of-18 from the floor and finished with 14 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, a steal and four turnovers before getting ejected late in the fourth quarter of Monday’s loss to New York. Tatum struggled with his shot mightily in this one, though he made up for it somewhat with useful counting stats. He didn’t get to finish the game, however, after receiving his first career ejection. With just under four minutes to play, Josh Hart drilled a corner three to put the Knicks up 14, and Tatum had some words for the referee, who tee’d him up for his second tech of the night and the ejection. Hart’s reaction was comical, and the New York faithful at MSG gave an uproarious cheer as Tatum was tossed. Tatum and his teammates host Cleveland on Wednesday, where they’ll look for a bounce-back effort.
