This information is subject to change, however, so be sure to check out our NBA Public Betting Page for updated figures on the game.

Blazers struggling to get on track

Portland is coming off a 118-106 loss at home to Boston on Tuesday. The Blazers are just 1-4 in their last five while failing to cover in five straight. Portland is 26-33 overall, 10-20 on the road, 23-34-2 against the spread and 33-26 with the over.

The Blazers are putting up 113.2 points per game on offense this season while shooting 45.6 percent from the field. Defensively, Portland is giving up 115.3 points per game while opponents shoot 45.2 percent against them. The Blazers remain without Damian Lillard, who is out with a groin injury. He averages 29.5 points and 7.9 assists per game this year. CJ McCollum is putting up 21.9 points per game while Hassan Whiteside averages 15.9 points and 14.2 rebounds per contest.

Pacers trying to heat up

Indiana is coming off a 119-80 win at home over the Hornets on Tuesday. The Pacers have won and covered in three of their last four games. Indiana is now 34-24 overall, 20-10 at home, 31-26-1 against the spread and 30-27-1 with the over.

The Pacers are giving up just 107.3 points per game on defense this season while opponents shoot 44.7 percent from the field. Offensively, Indiana is averaging 109.3 points per game while shooting 47.5 percent from the field. Victor Oladipo has been out with a back injury, but is questionable to return tonight. He averages 10.8 points per game through his limited action this season. TJ Warren leads the team with 18.5 points per game, while Domantas Sabonis is averaging 18.3 points and 12.5 rebounds per contest.

NBA Betting Trends

Portland

The Blazers are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven road games and 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games following a loss.

Indiana

The Pacers are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven home games and 16-36 ATS in their last 52 Thursday games.

Prediction:

The Blazers picked up a 139-129 win over Indiana at home last month. The Blazers have actually won and covered the spread in five straight against the Pacers. However, I think the Pacers buck that trend tonight. The Blazers just aren’t a competitive team without Lillard in the lineup. They have been manhandled by the likes of Boston, New Orleans and Memphis. Indiana had a rough show against Toronto, but the Pacers have bested the Hornets and Bucks in recent home games. I think their defense will be a problem for Portland and its lack of scoring.

NBA Prediction: Indiana Pacers -9.5
