Damian Lillard played 37 minutes Monday vs. Cleveland, finishing with 21 points (6-of-13 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), eight assists, four rebounds, two blocked shots and three 3-pointers. Lillard surpassed the 20-point mark for the first time since February 13, when he scored 29 in a home win over the Warriors. The All-Star point guard entered Monday averaging 22.4 points, 7.7 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 2.9 3-pointers per game while shooting 42.1% from the field, 34.5% from three and 91.2% from the foul line this month. Over the last month Lillard has been a top-10 player in nine-category leagues despite the three-point and overall field goal percentages that he’s posted.

Boston Celtics Fantasy Spin

Kyrie Irving played 28 minutes and hit 3-of-10 shots and a 3-pointer on Tuesday, scoring seven points with four rebounds, five assists and a steal in an ugly 118-95 loss to the Raptors. The Celtics were blown out 36-13 in the second quarter and the game was never close again. Irving was coming off a monster game and appears to be pretty healthy right now, so look for him to bounce back on Wednesday against the Blazers, assuming Irving is active for the back-to-back set.

Prediction

I believed the Celtics would rebound last night in Toronto, but this team is clearly lacks for confidence. That’s not a good thing heading into tonight, as the Trail Blazers have won seven of their last 10 games overall and are 4-0 against the spread in their last four contests. The underdog is 4-1 at the betting window in the last five meetings between these two teams while the Celtics have dropped four of their last five games ATS when coming off a loss. I like the Trail Blazers to win outright but I’ll put the 2.5 points in my back pocket.
