Los Angeles Clippers Fantasy Spin

Patrick Beverley shot 5-of-11 from three in Monday’s win over Dallas, tallying 17 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and one steal in 39 minutes. Beverley put forth one of his best floor games of the season, as the 17/9/8/1 stat line was made even more impressive by the fact that he did not commit a turnover. In the four games prior the veteran guard scored a total of 13 points, with seven being tallied in a February 22 win over the Grizzlies. Beverley has fantasy value due to his many contributions to the Clippers lineup, and if he can get his shot back that would make him an even better option in most leagues. Over the last month he’s been a top-40 player in nine-category leagues.

Utah Jazz Fantasy Spin

Ricky Rubio scored 25 points during a 125-109 win over the Mavs on Saturday, adding four rebounds, five assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes. Second-half Rubio coming like Omar? He's obviously not on The Wire in your league, but Rubio had been quiet for most of the season due to injury and cold shooting to make him annoying to own for the first part of the year. However, his last nine games have been what owners hoped for, averaging 15.8 points, 4.8 boards, 6.3 dimes, 1.6 steals and 1.3 treys on 46.7 FG% and 84.2 FT%. Based on the last two seasons, Rubio looks ready for another strong finish.
