Public Betting Trends

According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, the Grizzlies are the slight favorite at home, as they are getting odds of -3.5 points against the Bulls. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 213.5 points. The public betting for this game currently has 79 percent going on the Grizzlies at home. This information is subject to change, however, so be sure to check out our NBA Public Betting Page for updated figures on the game.

Bulls end win streak

Chicago had a three-game win streak come to an end on Monday in a 117-106 loss at home to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bulls had covered the spread in three straight prior to the loss. Chicago is 16-45 overall, 9-20 on the road, 27-33-1 against the spread and 33-27-1 with the under.

The Bulls have one of the worst offenses in the league, scoring just 103.7 points per game while shooting 45.2 percent as a team. Defensively, Chicago is giving up 111.7 points per game while holding opponents to 46.8 percent. Both Kris Dunn and Otto Porter Jr. are questionable to play tonight. They both average double figures in scoring. Zach LaVine is leading the team this season with 23.1 points per game.

Grizzlies end losing streak

Memphis had its four-game losing streak come to an end on Monday when it topped the Lakers at home, 110-105. The Grizzlies are now 24-38 on the season, 15-16 at home, 27-35 against the spread and 37-25 with the under.

The Grizzlies have the league’s worst offense, scoring just 100.9 points per game while shooting 44.8 percent from the field. Defensively, Memphis is pretty good. The Grizzlies are giving up 104.1 points per game while limiting opponents to 45 percent shooting. The team will be without Jaren Jackson Jr. due to a thigh injury while forward Ivan Rabb is doubtful with a heel injury. Mike Conley is leading the team with 20.2 points and 6.4 assists per game while Jonas Valanciunas is adding 20 points and 10.3 rebounds per game since joining the team.

NBA Betting Trends

Chicago

The Bulls are 5-1 against the spread in their last six road games, but just 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games against Western Conference opponents.

Memphis

The Grizzlies are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven home games and 4-0 ATS in their last four home games against a team with a losing road record.

Prediction:

The Bulls and Grizzlies both struggle on offense, but Memphis actually has a good defense. The Bulls can’t say the same. Chicago has struggled to stop many people this season and Memphis has an added scoring option in Valanciunas in the paint. Between he and Conley, I think Memphis can handle themselves at home.

NBA Prediction: Memphis Grizzlies -3.5
