Portland Trail Blazers DFS Spin
C.J. McCollum (foot), who is scheduled for a re-evaluation on March 2nd, doesn't appear close to a return according to coach Terry Stotts. “He’s not doing much,” Stotts said. “Whatever you’ve seen him do on social media is about all that he is doing. The rehab is going well, they are pleased with the way the foot is healing, but there is really not much more to it than that. I mean, he’s not running, stationary shooting. He needs to let it run its course.” This is a buzzkill for Portland fans and fantasy managers, but hopefully we get a better idea of a target date on March 2nd. In the meantime, Gary Trent Jr. will continue lighting up fantasy leagues and Derrick Jones Jr. has emerged as a sneaky pickup too for his defensive upside.
Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin
LeBron James netted 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting (4-of-5 FT) Wednesday, to go with four rebounds, four assists, one 3-pointer, one steal and four turnovers across 28 minutes in a blowout loss to the Jazz. The Lakers have now lost five of their past six games, and they're currently riding a four-game losing streak. James didn't get much help from his teammates tonight, with Markieff Morris (12) and Montrezl Harrell (16) being the only other players to crack double figures in the scoring department, and as a team, L.A. shot just 40% from the field. They had a tough matchup tonight against the No. 1 seed out West, but maybe they'll be able to right the ship on Friday vs. Portland.
