Toronto Raptors DFS Spin

Fred VanVleet is out for Saturday's matchup with the Pistons due to personal reasons. FVV missed Thursday's matchup with New Orleans and was excused from Friday's practice. With Toronto playing a Saturday-Sunday back-to-back, there's a good chance he misses both contests. Gary Trent Jr. and Scottie Barnes started at the two guard positions Thursday, and that will likely be the case for as long as FVV is out. Toronto typically runs a tight rotation, so there aren't any major beneficiaries of VanVleet's absence other than GTJ and Barnes, who are already widely rostered. Precious Achiuwa should see meaningful rotation minutes, but he went for just six points, six boards and a block across 20 minutes Thursday.

Detroit Pistons DFS Spin

Marvin Bagley (right hand) is expected to return to the Pistons' lineup Saturday against the Raptors. Bagley hasn't played since injuring his hand on January 2, but with Jalen Duren (ankle) out, there's a chance the former sees plenty of minutes in his first game back. If Detroit chooses to bring Bagley back slowly, Isaiah Livers could be in line for a sizable role.
