Miami Heat head coach Eric Spoelstra told reporters Thursday that Kyle Lowry (left knee soreness) is making progress however he declined to offer a timetable. The veteran Lowry has missed the team's last six games and as it stands right now it's unclear when he might return. Although Spoelstra declined to give a timetable, he told reporters "We want to get him right and get him moving the way he's capable of moving". Gabe Vincent should continue to fill the starting role.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is doubtful for Friday's matchup with the Heat due to a right wrist sprain. Encouragingly, Shams Charania reported earlier in the week that the Greek Freak avoided "serious damage" to his wrist, but regardless, he'll miss the first game after the All-Star break. Bobby Portis is off the injury report, meaning he and Brook Lopez are in line for expanded roles in Milwaukee's undermanned frontcourt.
