Denver Nuggets DFS Spin
Aaron Gordon's status for Thursday's matchup with Cleveland is still up in the air. AG missed Denver's final three games before the All-Star break, and there's no guarantee that the added rest will have him ready for Thursday. Vlatko Cancar and Bruce Brown have been starting with Gordon and Jamal Murray sidelined, but with Murray already saying he'll play Thursday, at least one of those guys will be headed back to a role off the bench. If Gordon remains out, Brown will likely remain the starter.
Cleveland Cavs DFS Spin
Donovan Mitchell posted 33 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals, a block and four triples in Wednesday’s loss to Philadelphia. While Darius Garland had a bit of a slump over his last three games, Mitchell was on a heater. He averaged 33.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 blocks, 4.0 threes and 21.7 FGA across those three contests, shooting 58.5% from the field, 92.3% from the charity stripe and 41.4% from beyond the arc. Spida had a rough first half, but the Cavs finished strong in Quarters 3 and 4, and he provided yet another 30-point performance. In addition to the elite offense, Mitchell stuffed the stat sheet, as has been the norm lately. He’s ranked 15th in per-game fantasy value heading into the All-Star break, making him one of fantasy’s biggest values based on his preseason ADP outside the second round.
