Public Betting Trends

According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Warriors are 9-point favorites to beat the Rockets. The total, meanwhile, sits at 233 points and as of this writing, 51% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Warriors to cover the point spread.

Houston Rockets Fantasy Spin

James Harden (neck) is questionable Saturday against the Warriors. This appears to be an issue Harden was playing through on Thursday. He had some treatment on his neck/shoulder area along with some kinesio tape while on the floor. We're expecting him to play through this in a non-B2B set against the champs on national TV.

Golden State Warriors Fantasy Spin

Stephen Curry scored a game-high 36 points during a 125-123 win over the Kings on Thursday, adding six rebounds, seven assists, two steals and 10 triples. The other Warriors hit just nine treys combined as Curry saved the day in a comeback win. It was his fifth game the season with double-digit treys to set an all-time mark for most games with 10-plus treys in a single season. Curry also has 14 games with 10-plus treys in his career with his teammate Klay Thompson at a distant second at five -- J.R. Smith the only other with more than one. Curry has a 66.3 TS% with an NBA-high 120.0 offensive this season, so he's flying under the radar in what has been a magnificent offensive year.

NBA Betting Trends

Houston

The Rockets are 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 conference matchups.

Golden State

The Warriors are 5-16-1 against the spread in their last 22 home games.

Prediction

The Rockets are just 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 road games, are 4-11 against the number in their last 15 games overall and have dropped eight of their last 11 games playing on one day of rest. The favorite has been profitable in this series, cashing in four of the previous five meetings between the two teams and if Harden doesn’t play the Rockets will have trouble keeping pace in the second half.

Saturday NBA Prediction: Golden State Warriors -9
