Spurs vs. Nuggets Prediction
Are the Nuggets a good bet to beat the Spurs again when the two teams meet Friday night at 9:00 p.m. ET in Denver?
There has been no line movement as of this writing. Denver opened as a 3.5-point favorite while the total hit the board at 209.5. Neither have moved.
As of this writing, 51% of betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Spurs. The majority of the money is also on the over for this matchup.
KEY INJURY TO WATCH
Both teams will be missing key players, as the Spurs will once again be without Kawhi Leonard (quad) and the Nuggets will not have Paul Millsap (wrist). San Antonio should have LaMarcus Aldridge (knee, probable), Manu Ginobili (foot, probable) and Rudy Gay (heel, probable) in uniform.
It always makes me nervous to lay points against a team like the Spurs but the Nuggets are hot. They've covered four straight at home, seven of eight overall, and five of six against the rest of the Western Conference. The Spurs, meanwhile, are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games overall and are 2-5 ATS in their last seven conference tilts.
OUR PREDICTION: DENVER NUGGETS -3.5
