76ers on a win streak

Philadelphia is riding a four-game win streak coming into tonight, but all four wins have come at home. The 76ers have really struggled on the road. The 76ers are now 35-21 on the season, 9-19 on the road, 23-29-4 against the spread and 28-27-1 with the under.

The 76ers have a pretty solid defense, allowing just 106.2 points per game while holding opponents to 45.4 percent shooting. Offensively, Philly averages 108.7 points per game while shooting 46.5 percent as a team. The 76ers are led by Joel Embiid, who is averaging 23.3 points and 12.0 rebounds per game. Ben Simmons is adding 16.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 8.3 assists per contest.

Bucks keep rolling

Milwaukee is coming off a 126-106 win at Detroit on Thursday for a sixth win and cover in seven games. The Bucks are now 47-8 on the season, 25-3 at home, 32-23 against the spread and 28-26-1 with the over.

The Bucks have the league’s best offense right now, averaging 119.7 points per game while shooting 48.1 percent from the field. Defensively, Milwaukee is allowing 107.5 points per game while holding opponents to just 41.2 percent shooting. Giannis Antetokounmpo is the MVP favorite at the All-Star Break, as he is averaging 30 points, 13.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists per contest. Khris Middleton is adding 20.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.

NBA Betting Trends

Philadelphia

The 76ers are 6-19-2 against the spread in their last 27 road games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven against a team with a winning percentage over .600.

Milwaukee

The Bucks are 10-1 against the spread in their last 11 Saturday games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games on 1 day of rest.

Prediction:

The home team has won and covered in both meetings this season, including a 112-101 win for the Bucks on Feb. 6. I like that trend to continue tonight. I just can’t trust the 76ers to show up on the road, especially against a team like Milwaukee that can score at a high rate, but also defend really well. Philly just doesn’t have the scoring to match Milwaukee and I don’t see Embiid being able to do enough on both sides of the ball to change the tone of the game.

NBA Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks -8.5
