DeAndre Ayton notched 16 points, 16 rebounds, two assists and one block in 35 minutes vs. the Pelicans on Friday. Ideally, a line like this wouldn't even be noteworthy. Even though he's averaging a double-double this season, it's on the low end of the spectrum and has gone down in February to 12.9 points and 11.4 boards. Unlike some other centers he doesn't hit 3-pointers or reliably get assists (1.8 per game), which makes it sting even more that he's failing to block more than 1.0 shots per game. The trade-low window is still open if you want to acquire him, though you may need to scale back expectations of top-20 glory.

Memphis Grizzlies DFS Spin

Desmond Bane (personal) was back in action vs. the Pistons on Friday, scoring 10 points with five rebounds, two steals, one assist and one 3-pointer. Bane played 25 minutes and he's quietly become an indispensable part of coach Taylor Jenkins' rotation. He's averaging 10.3 points and is spreading the court with elite 48.2% shooting from the arc, on 4.3 attempts per game. That puts him sixth in the NBA for 3-point percentage, behind Bobby Portis, Malik Monk, Jeremy Lamb, Marcus Morris and league-leader Joe Harris. The next-closest rookie is Tyrese Haliburton at 44.1% from deep. Unfortunately, Bane isn't contributing much else so he's just a deep-league specialist.
