Brooklyn Nets DFS Spin
Kyrie Irving hit 15-of-22 shots, 9-of-11 3-pointers and 1-of-4 free throws for a season-high 40 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in Monday's 136-125 win over the Kings. Irving was lights-out from everywhere but the free throw line tonight and helped the Nets set a franchise record with 27 3-pointers. James Harden hit six of them to go along with his triple-double, Jeff Green and Landry Shamet hit three, and Joe Harris, Tyler Johnson and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot each hit two triples to set the record. They were two shy of the NBA record of 29 3-pointers in a game, but the Nets might get it later this season when Kevin Durant is back in action. Irving was spectacular tonight.
Phoenix Suns DFS Spin
DeAndre Ayton hit 5-of-7 shots and 0-of-1 3-pointers for 10 points, one assist, 13 rebounds, and two turnovers in a win over the Magic on Sunday. Ayton notched his fifth double-double of the month and the Suns are cruising winning nine of their last 10 games. In eight games this month, Ayton is shooting 58.6% from the field and scoring 12.9 points with 11.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocks. It'd be nice to see that block total rise but he's a top-75 fantasy talent and playing extremely well.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Phoenix Suns Betting Prediction
The Nets have covered in seven of the previous 10 meetings between these two teams and are 4-1 against the number in the last five meetings in Phoenix. The Nets are also 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games when listed as an underdog and are 7-2 against the number in their last nine games when facing an opponent with a winning record.
