NBA Betting Trends

Portland

The Blazers are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games as an underdog, but 2-7 ATS in their last nine Tuesday games.

New Orleans

The Pelicans have covered in seven straight games on two days of rest and 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 games following a win.

Prediction:

The Pelicans have won and covered the spread in both meetings with the Blazers this season. Both teams have been playing better, but I like the trends that are with New Orleans. The Pelicans are rested and have a deep roster. Portland has to rely primarily on their top guys to lead them. Lillard can certainly put up points, but I think the Blazers are going to have trouble keeping pace with New Orleans tonight. The Pelicans have really been playing well offensively and I expect that to continue at home.

NBA Prediction: New Orleans Pelicans -3
