Los Angeles enters on a four-game winning streak and is 8-2 ATS in its last 10 games. The under has gone 6-4. Dallas has lost two in a row and seven of its last eight. The Mavs are 4-6 ATS in their last 10 contests. The under has gone 7-3. 

The Lakers will play their first game with trade acquisition Isaiah Thomas, who will come off the bench but should see a healthy amount of minutes. The trade of Larry Nance Jr. frees up more minutes for rookie Kyle Kuzma, while dealing Jordan Clarkson sheds an albatross of a contract and will allow more minutes for Josh Hart in addition to Thomas. I like the way LA is playing right now with an efficient offense to go with a surprisingly good defense. As an underdog against a weak opponent, I like the Lakers in this spot.
