Knicks vs. Hawks Sunday Prediction
The Knicks have won six of their last 10 games but can they pull off a small upset on Sunday evening in Atlanta where they’ll take on the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. ET? New York is currently a 3-point underdog after opening as a 2.5-point dog.

New York Knicks Fantasy Spin
Elfrid Payton played 30 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Pistons, finishing with 10 points, nine rebounds, six assists, two steals and one blocked shot. Payton didn’t have the best game scoring-wise, as shot 4-of-11 from the field and 2-of-4 from the foul line, but he made up for that in other areas. He led the Knicks in rebounds, assists and steals, and was a big reason why New York extended its win streak to four. Payton definitely has fantasy value, as he is the Knicks’ best option at the point, and he’s essentially auditioning for his next contract.
Atlanta Hawks Fantasy Spin
Trae Young (right ankle) is questionable for Sunday against the Knicks. He was not able to play on Friday to put Jeff Teague in the starting lineup, but Brandon Goodwin clearly outplayed him. Per the team on Friday,Young got hit in the ankle in the fourth quarter of the Minnesota game. He felt tender after that game. He went through shootaround this morning and was fine then didn't feel fine during warmups tonight. If he's out again, Goodwin and Teague will be worth a look.
NBA Prediction
I’m going to take my chances with a Knicks team that has been playing better of late. They’re 5-1 against the spread in their last six road games versus Atlanta and 4-1 against the number in its last five meetings with the Hawks overall. The Knicks have also covered in four straight games, are 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games and have cashed for bettors in five of their last seven games when listed as an underdog. Meanwhile, the Hawks are just 3-7 against the number in their last 10 games as a home favorite and are 5-12 against the spread in their last 17 games as a favorite either home or away.
