Giannis Antetokounmpo played 32 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Cavaliers, finishing with 24 points (8-of-15 FGs, 7-of-11 FTs), 11 rebounds, five assists and one 3-pointer. One night after tallying four blocks and one steal in a win over the Cavaliers, Antetokounmpo was unable to record any defensive stats in the second game of the back-to-back. But he still shot at least 50% from the field for the 10th straight game, and posted his eighth double-double in his last nine. Giannis still sits outside of the top-50 in 9-cat, due in large part to his issues with turnovers, but he’s played better basketball of late after getting off to a slow start.

Denver Nuggets DFS Spin

Michael Porter finished Saturday’s loss to the Kings with eight points (3-of-11 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, three blocks and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes. With Jamal Murray sidelined, this game represented a prime opportunity for Porter to step forward offensively. He failed to do that, shooting 1-of-7 from three and attempting just two free throws. The positives were the nine rebounds and three blocks, with the latter matching his season-high (12/23 vs. Sacramento). Porter remains a top-50 player in both 8- and 9-cat formats, so fantasy managers shouldn’t overreact to his poor showing in Sacramento.

Bucks vs. Nuggets Betting Prediction

The Bucks are 6-14-1 against the spread in their last 21 games in Denver and are 13-27-1 against the number in their last 41 games versus the Nuggets overall. The Nuggets are also 4-1 against the spread in their last five games coming off an ATS loss, are 5-2 against the number in their last seven games playing on one day of rest and are 6-2 at the betting window in their last eight games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.
