Nets vs. Raptors Saturday Prediction
The Nets have been a bad bet of late, especially in previous meetings with the Raptors. The two teams will meet tonight in Toronto at 7:30 p.m. ET with Brooklyn listed as a 6-point underdog. Will the Raptors cover that number?

Brooklyn Nets Fantasy Spin
Kyrie Irving (right knee) will not play in the next two games. He was already ruled out for Friday, but he also won't be playing on Monday. Getting ruled out that far ahead likely means Irving is going to miss more time, so there's a very good chance he's out until after the All-Star Game. Spencer Dinwiddie will start, and it's been Caris LeVert stepping up in a huge way lately.
Toronto Raptors Fantasy Spin
Pascal Siakam returned to Friday's game vs. the Pacers to score 15 points on 6-of-20 shots with four rebounds, one block and one triple in 35 minutes. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson poked him in the eye in the second quarter but Siakam was back on the floor for the second half and seemed just fine. He's looking at a boost in value for at least the short term, as Kyle Lowry left Friday's game with whiplash and isn't expected to play Saturday vs. Brooklyn. With Lowry off the floor this season, Siakam gets a 2% usage rate bump and facilitates a little more too with 3.9 dimes per 36 minutes.
NBA Prediction
The Nets have failed to cover in four of their last five meetings with the Raptors. They’re also 1-8 against the number in their last nine road games, are winless at the window in their last eight games when listed as a road underdog and have dropped 10 of their last 11 games when listed as an underdog of any kind. On the other side, the Raptors have covered the spread in four of their last five home games, are 5-2 against the number in their last seven games overall and have covered in 15 of their last 22 games when playing the second game of a back-to-back.
