Miami lost by a score of 128-111 Wedneday night at Los Angeles to fall to 34-16 overall and 12-13 on the road. The Heat were outscored 73-53 in the second half of the defeat. Derrick Jones Jr. led Miami with 25 points off the bench on 10-of-12 shooting including 3-of-5 from 3-point range plus 2-of-2 at the free throw line. He also tallied nine rebounds, three assists and two steals. Bam Adebayo registered 22 points, 11 boards, six dimes and two steals. Kings down T-Wolves

Sacramento registered a 113-109 home victory Monday night over Minnesota to improve to 19-31 overall and 9-15 at home. The Kings led 65-50 at halftime and held off a comeback attempt by the Timberwolves after the break. De'Aaron Fox led Sacramento with 31 points on 10-of-16 shooting including 3-of-4 from 3-point range plus 8-of-12 at the charity stripe. He also registered five assists, three rebounds and two steals. Bogdan Bogdanovic contributed 23 points, three assists and two boards. Buddy Hield had 16 points, three dimes and two rebounds off the bench. Harrison Barnes had 14 points, seven assists and five caroms. Nemanja Bjelica added 12 points, three rebounds and two assists.

NBA Betting Trends

The Heat are 1-4 ATS in their last five Friday games. Miami is 2-6 ATS in its last eight games as a road favorite.

The Kings are 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 home games. Sacramento is 1-5-1 ATS in its last seven games as a home underdog.

Miami made moves to bolster its roster at the trade deadline and will be looking to bounce back from its win at LA tonight. Expect the Heat to come out firing and take advantage of a Kings squad that has been inconsistent all season. While Miami has been far better at home, it has played better on the road as of late and will want to right the ship on this road trip. I'm siding with the better team tonight.
