Paul George shot 9-of-16 from the field and 7-of-7 from the foul line in Saturday's 134-128 overtime win over the Knicks, tallying 30 points, eight rebounds, five assists, one steal, and five 3-pointers in 42 minutes.  A top-25 player in season-long value, George has scored 30 points or more in nine games. Saturday's effort was his first in four games, as he dropped 35 in a January 26 win over the Kings. And he got back on track at the foul line, making all seven of his attempts after going 2-of-6 in Thursday's loss to the Bucks. The Clippers' decision to start Terance Mann at the point has resulted in George taking on more lead guard responsibilities, and he's played well. With the Clippers rumored to be in the running for Kyrie Irving, that's something for fantasy managers to keep an eye on ahead of the February 9 trade deadline.

Brooklyn Nets DFS Spin

According to TNT's Chris Haynes, the Suns are prepared to pursue Kevin Durant if the Nets make him available. Durant requested a trade during the offseason but was not moved, and things appeared to calm down on that front. However, the Nets' decision to honor Kyrie Irving's request and trade him on Sunday (to Dallas) reportedly has the Suns getting their affairs in order for a run at KD should be become available. Phoenix has finally solidified its ownership situation, making it easier for the team to be active before the trade deadline. Durant is closing in on a return to game action, as he's still sidelined with a sprained right MCL. Brooklyn's goal in the Irving trade was to get players back who would keep them competitive now, adding Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith in the deal.
