Pelicans drop back-to-back games

New Orleans is coming off back-to-back losses to the Rockets and Bucks this week. The Pelicans are 20-31 on the season, 10-15 on the road, 25-24-2 against the spread and 28-23 with the over.

The Pelicans are putting up 114.9 points per game on offense this season while shooting 45.6 percent as a team. Defensively, the Pelicans are giving up 117.2 points per game while opponents shoot 46.4 percent from the field. Brandon Ingram is leading the team with 25.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest. Zion Williamson is adding 19.6 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.

Bulls look to end skid

Chicago is coming off a three-game losing streak right now, all on the road. The Bulls last lost on Sunday in a 129-102 defeat at the hands of the Raptors. Chicago is 19-33 on the season, 11-15 at home, 23-28-1 against the spread and 27-25 with the over.

The Bulls are putting up 105.9 points per game on offense this year while shooting 44 percent from the floor. Defensively, the Bulls are giving up 108.7 points per game while opponents shoot 47.2 percent from the field. Chicago is without both Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter Jr. tonight due to injury. They combine for 26.7 points and 16.4 rebounds per game. Zach LaVine is leading the team with 24.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest.

NBA Betting Trends

New Orleans

The Pelicans are 7-2-1 against the spread in their last 10 road games and 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games overall.

Chicago

The Bulls are 17-37 against the spread in their last 54 home games and 6-20 ATS in their last 26 games as a home underdog.

Prediction:

The Pelicans won the first meeting back on Jan. 8, 123-108. That was at home, but I would expect a similar result tonight. New Orleans has lost its last two, but that came against the Rockets and Bucks. The Bulls are not that team and they are not full strength. The Pelicans should be able to put up solid offensive numbers tonight behind the likes of Ingram and Williamson. New Orleans should get back on track tonight against a poor team.

NBA Prediction: New Orleans Pelicans -4.5
