Nuggets destroyed at Detroit
The Denver Nuggets had their 6-game win streak come to an end on Monday in a 129-103 loss at Detroit. The Nuggets are just 2-3 against the spread in their last five games. Denver is 37-16 on the season, 14-12 on the road, 29-24 against the spread and 26-26-1 with the over/under total.
Denver is led by its defense this season, as the Nuggets are holding opponents to 106.5 points per game while allowing the fewest rebounds in the league (41.7 rpg). Offensively, the Nuggets are averaging 111.7 points per game while shooting 47.2 percent from the floor. Gary Harris and Jamal Murray are both out for today’s game while Paul Millsap is questionable. They are three of the top five scorers on the team. Nikola Jokic is leading the squad with 20.1 points, 10.4 rebounds and 7.7 assists per contest.
Nets on a skid
Brooklyn has lost three straight games following a 113-94 loss at home to Milwaukee on Monday. The Nets are now 28-27 on the season, 16-12 at home, 30-25 against the spread and 28-27 with the over.

NBA Betting Trends
Denver
The Nuggets are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games against Eastern Conference opponents, but 1-5 ATS in their last six road games.
Brooklyn
The Nets have covered the spread in five straight against Western Conference opponents and in 11 of their last 16 home games.
Prediction:
The Nets actually won their game in Denver back in November and I think the Nets are the play tonight as well. Brooklyn has been pretty strong at home in recent months while Denver has been a very inconsistent road team. The Nuggets looked awful at Detroit on Monday and they are without a lot of their scoring tonight. That should be a problem against this Brooklyn team that averages nearly 115 points at home.
NBA Prediction: Brooklyn Nets +2
