This information is subject to change, however, so be sure to check out our NBA Public Betting Page for updated figures on the game.

Heat hitting the road

Miami has played six of its last seven games at home and went 5-2 during this seven-game stretch. However, now it heads out for a West Coast road trip. The Heat are 34-15 on the season, 12-12 on the road, 28-19-2 against the spread and 29-19-1 with the over.

The Heat are putting up 112.3 points per game on offense while shooting 47.2 percent from the field and 38 percent from the arc. Miami is giving up 107.9 points per game on defense, but holding opponents to 44.3 percent shooting from the field and 32.8 percent from the arc. Tyler Herro is out tonight due to a foot injury. He averages 13.1 points per game this season. Jimmy Butler is leading the team right now with 20.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 6.2 assists per contest. Goran Dragic is adding 16.0 points and 5.0 assists per game.

Clippers playing well

Los Angeles is coming off a 108-105 win at home over San Antonio on Monday for a fourth win in five games. The Clippers are 35-15 on the season, 21-5 at home, 27-23 against the spread and 26-23-1 with the under.

The Clippers are putting up 115.3 points per game on offense this season while shooting 46.1 percent from the floor. Defensively, Los Angeles is allowing 109.4 points per game while opponents shoot 43.5 percent against them. Paul George is questionable to go tonight due to a nose issue. George puts up 22.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game this season. Kawhi Leonard is leading the team this year with 27.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per contest.

NBA Betting Trends

Miami

The Heat are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games playing on 1 day of rest and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a win.

Los Angeles

The Clippers are 4-11 against the spread in their last 15 games following a win, but 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a failed cover.

Prediction:

These two met a few weeks ago in Miami and the Clippers grabbed a 122-117 win. Miami is a good team, especially at home, but the Heat struggle on the road. Los Angeles was able to crack this code in Miami and I think they can do it on their home floor tonight. The Heat don’t have the same depth as the Clippers and their leaders just aren’t as reliable and consistent as Leonard and George. Los Angeles is just the better team and I think they win comfortable tonight.

NBA Prediction: Los Angeles Clippers -6.5
