Public Betting Trends

According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the 76ers are 3-point favorites to beat the Raptors. The total, meanwhile, sits at 231 points and as of this writing, 51% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the 76ers to cover the point spread.

Toronto Raptors Fantasy Spin

Kawhi Leonard shot 6-of-12 from the field to score 18 points on Sunday, adding five rebounds, two assists, one block and three 3-pointers in just 26 minutes. The Clippers tried to defend Kawhi with Avery Bradley, primarily, and it did not go well for L.A. Nobody logged more than 26 minutes for Toronto in what became a blowout home win, so there's no reason to fret about limited run for Kawhi, Pascal Siakam (15 points, four boards in 22 minutes) and Serge Ibaka (16 points, 12 boards in 22 minutes). Toronto doesn't have another back-to-back until mid-March, either, so Kawhi may be able to avoid DNPs for the foreseeable future.

Philadelphia 76ers Fantasy Spin

Joel Embiid made just 9-of-24 from the field and 11-of-13 from the line for 29 points with 17 rebounds, two assists, four blocks, one steal and four turnovers during a 115-108 loss to the Kings on Saturday. He had 24 shots from the field for the second straight game, and he's been to the line a whopping 40 times in his last three games. On the downside, he might want to cool it from deep, making just 19.2% from deep in his last six with averages of 29.8 points, 14.8 boards, 4.0 dimes, 4.3 turnovers, 1.7 blocks, 0.8 steals and 0.8 treys. He has only made 26.7% of threes at home (32.6% at Well Fargo), but obviously his fantasy owners can't complain as long as he's active.

NBA Betting Trends

Toronto

The Raptors are 2-10 against the spread in their last 12 road games.

Philadelphia

The 76ers have covered the spread in six of their last eight games coming off a loss.

Prediction

The home team is a perfect 5-0 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams while the favorite has covered in 20 of the previous 26 meetings in this series. On top of being a terrible road bet lately, the Raptors also 1-4 against the spread in their last five games playing on one day of rest, are 5-11 against the number in their last 16 conference games and are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games versus a team with a winning record.

Tuesday NBA Prediction: Philadelphia 76ers -3
