NBA Prediction: Warriors vs. Mavericks

The Mavericks ended their six-game losing streak last night with a win in Atlanta over the Hawks. Now Dallas returns home to host the Golden State Warriors at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday night and are small favorites. Will the Mavs cover?

Golden State Warriors DFS Spin

Stephen Curry was lethal vs the Celtics on Tuesday night, pouring in 38 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and steals in the loss. Curry was the only Warriors player to score more than 16 points as they came up just short in 111-107 loss to Boston. But Steph had his way, going 12-of-21 from the floor with seven 3-pointers and a perfect 7-of-7 free throws. He's made at least four triples in eight straight games and 13 in his last two. He's the GOAT shooter for a reason and is a top-10 player in 9-cat right now.

Dallas Mavericks DFS Spin

Luka Doncic hit 8-of-20 shots, a 3-pointer and 10-of-10 free throws for 27 points, eight rebounds, 14 assists, two steals, a block and four turnovers in Wednesday's 122-116 win over the Hawks. He's still struggling to connect from downtown and hit just 1-of-5 3-point attempts tonight, but the Mavericks played better defense and Luka's free throw shooting was a big plus. The Mavs will try to make it two in a row with a date with Golden State on Thursday. And Steph Curry vs. Luka should be must-see TV after he outplayed Trae Young tonight.

Warriors vs. Mavericks Betting Prediction

The Warriors are winless against the spread in their last seven meetings with the Mavericks and are 0-4 against the number in their last four trips to Dallas. Golden State is also just 2-6 against the spread in its last eight road games, is 1-4 against the number in its last five games as an underdog and 1-5 at the betting window in its last six games as a road dog. On the other side, the Mavericks are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games following a win and are 8-3 against the number in their last 11 games when their starting five players combine for more than 160 minutes of the previous day.
