Are the Pistons a good bet to cover on the road tonight as a small underdog when they visit the Pacers at 7:00PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Pacers are 4-point favorites versus the Pistons after opening as a 5-point favorite. The total, meanwhile, hit the board at 213 and has been bet down to 210.5 at the majority of online and Vegas sports books.

Bet Tonight's NBA Action

Detroit enters play tonight with a 5-5 record over its last 10 games and is 5-5 against the spread over those 10 games. The Pistons have now won back-to-back games, including a 116-108 victory over the Timberwolves on Friday night. In that game, Jon Leuer scored a season-high 24 points in 35 minutes, adding four rebounds, one assist and four 3-pointers.

Indiana has won seven of its last 10 games and is 5-4-1 against the spread over that same span. The team has now won six consecutive games, including a 106-97 victory at Brooklyn on Friday night. Paul George scored 24 points with 11 rebounds, three assists, three blocks, two steals and one 3-pointer in the win over the Nets. Monta Ellis added nine points with six rebounds.

OUR PREDICTION: The Pistons are just 5-12 against the spread in their last 17 games in Indiana and are winless at 0-4 against the number in their last four games against the Pacers. They're also just 4-11 against the spread in  their last 15 conference games and are 3-9 at the betting window in their last 12 games coming off a win. The Pacers, meanwhile, are 4-0-1 against the spread in their last five games overall and are tough to beat at home.
