According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Celtics are 11.5-point home favorites versus the Lakers after opening as a 12.5-point favorite. As for the total, the number hit the board at 220.5 but has been bet up to 221.

The Lakers have dropped eight of 10 overall and are just 5-5 at the betting window over that 10-game stretch. Their latest loss came on Thursday night when they fell to the Wizards 116-108. That said, they did cover as a 10.5-point road underdog and have now covered in four consecutive games. D'Angelo Russell handed out a career-high 11 assists in the loss to the Wizards, adding 17 points and seven rebounds with two steals.

The Celtics have won seven of 10 and are 5-5 against the spread over that same span. They won their fifth consecutive game, beating the Raptors 109-104 while failing to cover as a 6-point favorite on Wednesday night. Isaiah Thomas scored 44 points in the win over Toronto, racking up five 3-pointers to go along with seven assists and four rebounds.

The Lakers are shooting 52.7% over that same span but will be playing the second game of a back-to-back so fatigue could be a factor tonight. The under is 4-1 in the Lakers' last five road games and has cashed in five of their last seven games coming off a loss. With L.A. worn down and Boston not on top of its game offensively at the moment, this game should fall under for bettors.
