Suns back on a slide
Phoenix has lost four of its last six games following a 111-107 loss at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Suns are 20-28 on the season, 11-11 on the road, 24-23-1 against the spread and 25-23 with the over.
The Suns are putting up 113 points per game while shooting 46.3 percent from the field. Defensively, Phoenix is allowing 113.5 points per game while opponents shoot 47.2 percent from the floor. Devin Booker is leading the team with 27.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game. Deandre Ayton is adding 17.8 points and 11.6 rebounds per game for the Suns.
Bucks end win streak
Milwaukee saw a 9-game win streak come to an end on Friday in a 127-115 loss at home to Denver. The Bucks are 41-7 on the season, 22-3 at home, 26-22 against the spread and 24-23-1 with the over.
The Bucks are the league’s top offense, averaging 119.9 points per game while shooting 48.3 percent from the field. Defensively, Milwaukee is giving up 107.6 points per game while holding opponents to 41.2 percent shooting. Giannis Antetokounmpo is leading the team with 30.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game. Khris Middleton is adding 20.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest. Giannis and George Hill are both questionable to play today due to a hamstring injury.
NBA Betting Trends
Phoenix
The Suns are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games as a road underdog and 4-1 ATS in their last five road games.
Milwaukee
The Bucks are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven home games and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Sunday games.
Prediction:
Certainly the Bucks are a dominant team, but they have had their troubles with Phoenix in the past. The Suns actually on both meetings last season and have covered the spread in four of their last five against the Bucks. Phoenix can score with the best of them and just put up 133 in Dallas earlier this week. The Bucks gave up 127 at home to a poor Denver offense, so I think the Suns can find ways to keep this game competitive. I like the Suns with the points in this one.
NBA Prediction: Phoenix Suns +12.5
