NBA Betting Trends

New Orleans

The Pelicans are 7-1-1 against the spread in their last nine road games and 16-4-1 ATS in their last 21 games overall.

Houston

The Rockets are 1-4 against the spread in their last five home games, but just 2-6 ATS in their last eight games as a favorite.

Prediction:

The Rockets have won two of three with New Orleans this season, while the Pelicans have covered the spread in all three. The Pelicans have been playing very well as of late and their offense is really taking the next step. Houston is a great offensive team as well, but the Rockets haven’t been terribly consistent with their play. Houston has struggled with teams that can score, and New Orleans certainly fits that bill right now. I will take the Pelicans and the points today.

NBA Prediction: New Orleans Pelicans +5
