Hawks vs. Rockets Prediction
Will the Hawks cover the point spread as a sizable road underdog tonight when they visit the Rockets at 8:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Rockets are 9-point home favorites versus the Hawks while the over/under currently sits at 223.5 points. While the point spread hasn't moved off the original number of 9, the total hit the board at 222 and has been bet up to 223.5.
The Hawks have won six of their last 10 games overall but are just 4-6 at the betting window during that span. They're also coming off a 116-93 loss to the Heat as a 1.5-point road underdog and have now dropped two of their last three games. In the loss to the Heat, Paul Millsap scored just nine points with seven rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The Rockets have split over their last five games and are just 4-6 against the spread during their last 10 contests. They did beat the Kings 105-83 and covered as a 12-point favorite on Tuesday, but that was just their second win in their last five games. James Harden hit just 3-of-9 shots and missed all five of his 3-point attempts on his way to 10 points in the victory over Sacramento.

OUR PREDICTION: The Hawks have covered in five of their last six meetings with the Rockets and are 9-4 at the betting window in their last 13 road games. The Rockets, meanwhile, are just 1-4 at the betting window in their last five games overall, are 0-6 against the spread in their last six games coming off a win, and are 1-6 against the number in their last seven games playing on one day of rest. With Harden in a small shooting funk at the moment, this is a good opportunity to take the points.
