Clippers small forward Marcus Morris Sr. is dealing with a rib contusion and he’s officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against Cleveland. Morris is fourth on the team in scoring with 12.9 points per game. Los Angeles point guard John Wall will miss Sunday’s game with an abdominal strain. Wall is averaging 11.4 points per game this season.

For cost-effective shooting in DFS, consider Clippers small forward Norman Powell. Powell is shooting a blistering 43.2% from three-point range this season on 4.7 attempts per game. His counting stats aren’t bad either as he’s posting 16.5 points, 3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 0.7 steals per game for the Clippers this year.  

Cleveland Cavaliers DFS Spin

Cleveland shooting guard Donovan Mitchell is questionable for Saturday’s clash with L.A. He’s missed the past two games with a left groin strain. Mitchell is Cleveland’s best player and leading scorer, as he averages 28.3 points, 4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game for the season. Cleveland’s Kevin Love is also questionable for Sunday with lower back spasms, but he only averages 8.5 points per game in 20 minutes per contest as a bench player for the Cavs this year.

Cleveland point guard Darius Garland could be a nice option in DFS this weekend. Garland may not command top dollar like some other point guards in action on Sunday, but his production could match the best of the best. Garland is posting 22 points and 8.9 assists per game while shooting 39.9% from deep on the campaign. You could do worse than Darius Garland when it comes to a point guard in DFS Sunday.

The key thing for the Clippers is their defense. They rank in the top ten in the NBA in defensive efficiency, opponent points per game, and opponent shooting percentage. If they can put the clamps on Cleveland’s Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell (assuming the latter plays), they have a real shot to extend their winning streak to 6 games. 

One final note on this game: Kawhi Leonard hasn’t played in back-to-back games all season and played 39 minutes against Atlanta on Saturday night. He might be sitting on Sunday, but I still like the Clippers regardless.
