Chris Paul recorded a double-double on Thursday and finished with 22 points (9-for-15 FGs), six rebounds, 10 assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in a loss to the Mavericks. CP3 has been a fantasy superstar throughout his career, but he has faced a drop off in production, which is understandable for 37-year-old. However, he's been much better as of late, as he has provided top-15 value over the past week. He kept the Suns in this game, even if they weren't able to hang on for the win. He has double digit assists and multiple threes in three straight games. With Devin Booker sidelined, CP3 has shined, which has kept the Suns afloat in the tight Western Conference.
San Antonio Spurs DFS Spin
Keldon Johnson finished Thursday's 138-100 loss to the Clippers with 19 points (7-of-13 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), three rebounds, and three assists in 31 minutes. Johnson was efficient Thursday night, putting up a 19/3/3 line with zero turnovers, but the production isn't at the level most fantasy managers would expect of a primary scoring option. But this isn't a surprise, as this is how Johnson's season has played out thus far. Providing 14th-round value in 9-cat formats, he's averaging 21.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.7 steals, and 2.4 3-pointers per game. Johnson's a better option in roto leagues than the head-to-head variety, but not by much. Given the lack of defensive production and low assist average, it's fair to wonder if Johnson will be able to finish the season within the top 150 in 9-cat.
