Nets on fire

The Brooklyn Nets have won five straight coming into tonight following a 114-110 win over Orlando on Wednesday. The Nets have covered the spread in four of the five wins. Brooklyn is now 26-23 on the season, 14-11 at home, 27-22 against the spread and 26-23 with the over.

The Nets continue to improve on offense, now averaging 111.8 points per game while shooting 36.3 percent from the arc. Defensively, Brooklyn is giving up 111.6 points per game this year. Already with injuries piling up, the team just lost guard Spencer Dinwiddie until March with a thumb injury. Still, Brooklyn seems like a team hell bent on winning with the roster they have. New York has been a mess for a while and their road performances have led to some very lopsided losses. There’s no reason the Knicks need to be competitive, as they are set to be one of the top lottery teams in a race for Zion Williamson. Look for the Nets to continue to play well at home and cover this spread.
