Kings vs. Cavs Prediction
Are the Cavaliers a bad bet to cover as a double-digit favorite tonight when they host the Kings at 7:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cavaliers are 12-point home favorites versus the Kings while the over/under currently sits at 216 points. While the point spread hasn't budged since it hit the board at 12, the total has been bet from 215.5 up to 216.
The Kings finally snapped their five-game losing streak with a 109-104 win at Detroit on Monday night. They have covered in back-to-back games, but have dropped eight of their last 10 games overall. Ty Lawson finished with 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting, with one 3-pointer, three rebounds, six assists and a steal off the bench in Sacramento's win over the Pistons.
The Cavs are in a bit of a funk, losing back-to-back games against the Spurs and Pelicans, as well as three of their last four overall. The recent losing sent LeBron James into a tirade following the defeat at New Orleans. "I'm not mad or upset at management cause [David Griffin] and staff have done a great job, I just feel we still need to improve in order to repeat," James Tweeted. "If that's what we wanna do." James wants the Cavs' front office to add another playmaker.

OUR PREDICTION: The Kings are just 3-13 against the spread in their last 16 games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and are winless at 0-4 at the betting window in their last four games coming off a win. They're also 0-4 against the spread in their last four games against the Cavs, while the home team is a perfect 5-0 against the spread in the last five games between these two teams and the home squad is 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games overall. It's a big number tonight, but the Cavs are pissed and the Kings are struggling. This will get ugly.
