Clippers vs. 76ers Prediction
The Clippers are small road favorite versus the 76ers tonight in Philadelphia. Are they a good bet to cover?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Clippers are now 4.5-point road favorites versus the Sixers after opening as a 2-point favorite. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 204 points after hitting the board at 199.
Blake Griffin is listed as probable for tonight's game versus the 76ers. With Chris Paul sidelined for the next five or six weeks due to a thumb injury, Griffin's return will be a huge boost for the Clippers. He's missed 18 straight games for Los Angeles but was averaging 21.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.0 steals before suffering a knee injury.
The 76ers will be without Joel Embiid tonight but could get he back on Friday when the team plays the Rockets. Jahlil Okafor, meanwhile, was limited in a shoot-around today and is officially questionable with a knee injury. He had previously been listed as probable but is now in danger of missing the game tonight.

OUR PREDICTION: The Clippers have covered in eight of nine games against the Sixers and are 4-1 at the betting window in their last five games in Philadelphia. The Clippers have also covered in seven of their last 10 games overall and are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games coming off a win. The return of Griffin should energize a Clippers team that has been trying to get by without its two stars. With the Sixers still banged up themselves, 4.5 points is a small number to lay on the better team.
