Miami Heat Fantasy Spin
Hassan Whiteside played 19 minutes vs. the Pistons on Friday with eight points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. He had an awful night from the foul line (0-of-8), bumping his season average down to 42.9%. Whiteside is sitting outside of the top-100 of standard category leagues for that reason, but he jumps all the way up into the top-25 for punt-FT builds. Bam Adebayo had it going and the Heat opted for a smaller lineup with Andre Drummond (nasal injury) leaving the game early, so if you combine that with his struggles from the line it's easy to see why he was pulled so early. Whiteside did tweak his left shoulder and was able to play through it, but it's worth a mention with the Heat playing the Bulls for the second night of a back-to-back on Saturday. Be prepared to add Bam if Whiteside pops up on the injury report.
Chicago Bulls Fantasy Spin
Lauri Markkanen didn't get much help during a 135-105 loss to the Nuggets on Thursday, scoring 27 points with 10 rebounds, one assist and five 3-pointers in 25 minutes. He scored 15 of the first 21 points for the Bulls, including a run with 10 points in 90 seconds. The Bulls were actually leading at the end of the first, but their defense fell apart with 42 points given up in the third. Markkanen was in a mini-slump before this strong outing, failing to hit 20 points in five straight. There was some concern that he is still playing through his elbow injury, but e is starting to show more confidence in his shooting. The Bulls are bad, but Lauri should be a mid-round player going forward with some early-round upside.
NBA Betting Trends
Miami

Prediction
The Heat are a profitable 6-2 at the betting window in their last eight road games versus the Bulls while the road squad has also covered in six of the previous eight meetings between these two teams. While the Bulls are just 1-4-1 at the betting window in their last six games overall and 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games, the Heat are 22-8-1 against the number in their last 31 games playing on zero rest. The Heat are also 9-4 at the betting window in their last 13 road games.
