Grizzlies vs. Raptors Total Prediction

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Toronto Raptors, 1/19/19 Predictions & Odds

The under has been a great bet when the Memphis Grizzlies and Toronto Raptors meet, which they will Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET. That said, given the scoring power of the Raptors, is the under still a good play in tonight’s matchup.

Public Betting Trends

According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Raptors are 12.5-point favorites to beat the Grizzlies. The total, meanwhile, sits at 211 points and as of this writing, 55% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Grizzlies to cover the point spread.

Memphis Grizzlies Fantasy Spin

Mike Conley scored a team-high 26 points during a 122-116 loss to the Celtics on Friday, adding four assists and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes. The big news today was owner Robert Pera meeting with Conley this week to talk about the franchise. Conley probably won't be traded, but it's interesting to see if he had a say for how the Grizzlies potentially tank it up. They have lost 10 of their last 11, so this is all bad news for Conley because he would be more likely to rest in some games. Still, he's playing great, so keep starting him in all formats.

Toronto Raptors Fantasy Spin

Kyle Lowry played 40 minutes against the Suns on Thursday, scoring 16 points (4-of-15 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs) with nine rebounds, eight assists, two steals and two 3-pointers. Lowry was originally slated to sit this one out, but he woke up feeling better than expected and gave it a go. He became the 65th player in NBA history to surpass the 5,000 career assist mark with his performance against Phoenix. Lowry has struggled shooting of late, just 30.9% over his last five, but his other numbers have still been there. He might gets some nights off down the stretch, but he's still a must-start when active.

NBA Betting Trends

Memphis

The Grizzlies are 3-12 against the spread in their last 15 games when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game.

Toronto

The Raptors have covered just eight times in their last 28 games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous contest.

Prediction

The under is 15-3 in the last 18 meetings between these two teams in Toronto and has cashed in 28 of the previous 37 meetings as well. The under is also 5-1 in the Grizzlies’ last six games when playing on no rest, is 5-2 in their last seven games overall and cashed in seven of Memphis’ previous 10 road games. On the other side, the under is 11-5 in the Raptors’ last 16 games when facing a team with a losing record so while the over has been a profitable bet in recent Toronto games, I’m expecting a letdown for them tonight.

Saturday NBA Prediction: Grizzlies/Raptors under 211
