Andrew Wiggins had one of his best games of the season on Tuesday, notching 22 points, seven boards, three assists and career-high five blocks. Wiggins now has 18 blocks in his last eight games and for the first time in his career, he's blocked three shots in back-to-back games. This is the defensive potential everyone expected from the former No. 1 overall pick, all it took was being on the right team that brings out the best in him. And aside from the blocks, Wiggins has also hit at least two threes in five straight games and is shooting 43% from beyond the arc in 2020-21. He said was trying to "change the narrative" and so far, he's doing it.

Nuggets coach Michael Malone revealed after Tuesday's loss to the Nets that Michael Porter Jr. tested positive for COVID-19. On January 7, it was reported that Porter Jr. would have to quarantine for at least 10-14 more days, but it wasn't known whether or not he tested positive for COVID-19. Now we know, which could make things trickier with regard to a possible return. Also a late arrival to the bubble by more than two weeks when the league resumed play last season, MPJ has not appeared in a game since New Year's Day. Will Barton will continue to start at the small forward position in Porter Jr.'s absence.
