Clippers vs. Kings Pick
Are the Los Angeles Clippers going to cruise to a road victory for a second straight night tonight when they play at the Sacramento Kings? Game time is at 10PM ET.
Who Oddsmakers Like: Both teams. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Clippers and Kings are listed as a pick'em on the spread line. The total is set at 211 points. Los Angeles opened as a 1.5-point fave, while the total has risen after opening at 209.
Who the Public Likes: Los Angeles. As of Thursday afternoon, 58 percent of public bets have come in on the Clippers.
Injury Report: Clippers point guard Milos Teodosic has missed three games with plantar fascitis in his foot and he is questionable for tonight. Blake Griffin has missed the last two games with a brain injury and it is unknown if he will return tonight. CJ Williams left last night's game with a sprained ankle and he is questionable for tonight. Austin Rivers is expected to be out a couple more weeks with a strained Achilles. Danilo Gallinari is out until early February with a glute strain. Patrick Beverley is out for the season after knee surgery. For the Kings, George Hill has been away from the team the last two games for the birth of his child and it is unknown if he will return tonight. Georgios Papagiannis missed the last game with an illness and is questionable tonight. Frank Mason is out another week with a heel contusion. Harry Giles is recovering from surgery on both knees and is targeting a return in early February.
Who the Trends Like: The over is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings in Sacramento and 9-4 in the last 13 meetings overall. Los Angeles is 4-0 ATS in its last four games following a straight up win by 10 or more points.
Who We Like: Los Angeles was very impressive in its 125-106 victory last night at Golden State, receiving a massive 50-point outburst from guard Lou Williams. The Clippers are right in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race, receiving nightly contributions from a number of players who weren't expected to have big rotation roles this season. Despite all the injuries, LA has persevered with Williams playing a huge part. I still like the Clippers tonight despite the back-to-back as they are playing with confidence and momentum against a Kings squad that has lost five of six.
