Offensively, Denver is putting up 109.2 points per game while shooting 46.2 percent from the field. Will Barton will miss tonight’s game for personal reasons. He averages 14.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game for the Nuggets. Nikola Jokic is leading Denver on the season with 18.9 points, 9.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists per contest.

Mavs struggling to get back on track

Dallas has been dealing with some injuries as of late and they haven’t been able to get themselves on a win streak lately. The Mavs are just 5-5 over their last 10. Dallas is 23-13 on the season, 11-8 at home, 19-16-1 against the spread and 23-13 with the over.

Prediction:

Dallas won the first meeting with Denver back on Oct. 29, a 109-106 road victory. Denver has seen a nice boost in offense as of late and the Nuggets will need it if they hope to win tonight. However, not having Barton tonight will be an issue. He helps contribute about 20 points per game through his scoring and passing. The Mavs are an offensive power and they should be able to score just fine at home against Denver. They have put up at least 118 in their last three at home. Denver won’t be able to compete with that pace. Even without Porzingis, I expect Doncic to lead the way and push the Mavs to the victory and cover.
