Knicks vs. Bucks Prediction
Can the Milwaukee Bucks put together back-to-back wins over the New York Knicks tonight at 8PM ET? Can they also cover at home in the process?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Bucks are favored at home, as they are getting odds of -5.5 points against the Knicks. The over/under total for the game has been set at 213.5 points. The Bucks own a win over New York this year and they have won seven of the last nine in this series.
The Bucks have won three straight, including a 105-104 win at New York on Wednesday thanks to a buzzer-beater from Giannis Antetokounmpo. Milwaukee is now 18-16 overall on the season and 16-18 against the spread. The Bucks failed to cover as a 3.5-point road favorite on Wednesday. The Bucks average 104.9 points per game on offense while the defense gives up 102.4 points per contest. Antetokounmpo is averaging 23.9 points, 9.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game to lead the Bucks. Jabari Parker is adding 20.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Matthew Dellavedova is questionable for tonight’s game with a hamstring injury. He has missed the last four games.
New York is in the midst of a six-game losing streak. The Knicks have fallen to 16-19 on the season, yet they are 21-14 against the spread. Going on the road hasn’t been kind to New York, as the Knicks are just 5-12 away from MSG. New York is averaging 105.3 points per game this season, but giving up 108.4 points per contest on the road. Carmelo Anthony is leading New York with 22.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game while Kristaps Porzingis is putting up 20.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. He is questionable for tonight’s games game with an Achilles injury. He has missed the last three games. Jakim Noah is also questionable tonight with a shoulder injury. He is the team’s leading rebounder at 8.8 per game.
Milwaukee has set itself up nicely right now and aside from winning against the Knicks a few days ago, their leaders are playing much better than what New York has to offer. The Bucks are riding the Greek Freak and Parker to wins and I expect that to continue against a New York team that could be less than 100 percent.
