2010-11 NBA Season Win Total Odds

2010-11 nba season win total odds over under totals

(The Spread) - After the Miami Heat stockpiled talent in the offseason, they were the team with the biggest over/under total for season wins according to oddsmakers. Check out where they ranked against other teams in our 2010-11 NBA Season Win Totals & Over/Under Odds report.

According to opening NBA trends and oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, the Miami Heat opened with a 63.5 win total for the 2010-11 season. After landing Chris Bosh and LeBron James to play alongside Dwyane Wade, it’s no wonder why oddsmakers would have the Heat’s win total so high.

It was no surprise to see the Los Angeles Lakers listed right behind the Heat with an over/under win total of 58.5. Kobe Bryant and the Lakers were once again favored to win the Western Conference and although they’ve gotten off to a slow start, they should rebound.

After LeBorn took his talents to South Beach, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ stock plummeted. Due to a roster that is largely devoid of talent, oddsmakers listed the Cavs’ season win total at 32.5 points.

According to opening NBA odds, the San Antonio Spurs received an over/under win total of 48.5. It appears as though oddsmakers underestimated Tim Duncan and Co., however, because the Spurs are rolling.

Other win total projections included the Boston Celtics at 55.5, the Dallas Mavericks at 49.5 and the Houston Rockets at 48.5. To check out a complete list of season win totals for every NBA team, see below.
