Blazers seek win streak

The Blazers are coming off a 129-95 win at home over the Knicks, but the Blazers haven’t managed to win back-to-back games for a few weeks. Portland is 21-16 on the season, 7-10 on the road, 18-19 against the spread and 19-18 with the under.

Portland is putting up 111.3 points per game on offense this season while shooting 35.8 percent from the arc. Defensively, the Blazers are giving up 110.5 points per game while allowing opponents to shoot 37.1 percent from the arc. Damian Lillard is leading the team with 26.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game while CJ McCollum is adding 21.2 points per game.

Kings fall to Lakers

The Kings are coming off a 121-114 loss at the Lakers on Saturday. They have lost two of their last three, but both were on the road. The Kings have failed to cover in three straight. Sacramento is 19-17 on the season, 10-7 at home, 21-15 against the spread and 25-11 with the over.

Sacramento is one of the top offensive teams in the NBA this season, averaging 115.2 points per game while shooting 38.4 percent from the arc and 47.2 percent from the field. Marvin Bagley III is sidelined tonight with his knee injury while guard De’Aaron Fox is questionable to play tonight with a shoulder injury. Fox is averaging 18.3 points and 7.7 assists per game this season. Buddy Hield is leading the team with 19.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

NBA Betting Trends

The Blazers are just 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five conference games.

The Kings are 0-4 ATS in their last four against winning teams and 2-5 ATS in their last seven conference games.

This is a tough call, but I am going to take my chances on Portland on the road. The Blazers have picked up recent road wins against the Warriors and Clippers and they come in healthy. Sacramento could be without Fox, who has been a big piece of the team this season. The Kings are not a good defensive team and I think that is what will cost them tonight. If Sacramento can’t score at a high rate, the Kings can’t win.

NBA Prediction: Portland Trail Blazers -1
