Red Sox vs. Dodgers Prediction
The Los Angeles Dodgers need a win tonight to climb back in the World Series as they are staring at a 2-0 deficit against the Boston Red Sox. Is host Los Angeles the right team to bet on as they look to make the Fall Classic competitive?

Price sharp once again
David Price pitched well for a second straight postseason game Wednesday night as the Red Sox doubled up the Dodgers 4-2 in Game 2 of the World Series. Price went six innings and allowed two earned runs on three hits with five strikeouts and three walks to pick up the win. Mookie Betts went 3-for-4 to help pace the offense with a double and a run scored. J.D. Martinez finished 1-for-4 with a pair of RBIs. Ian Kinsler was 1-for-3 with an RBI, while Steve Pearce walked and drove in a run in three plate appearances. Craig Kimbrel picked up the save as he threw a spotless inning of relief.
Kemp, Puig drive in runs
The Dodgers were limited to three hits in the Game 2 loss with David Freese going 1-for-2 with a walk and a run. Manny Machado was 1-for-4 with a run, while Matt Kemp had a sacrifice fly in four plate appearances. Yasiel Puig was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Hyun-Jin Ryu took the loss as he gave up four earned runs on six hits over 4 2/3 innings, with five strikeouts and a walk.
Rick Porcello (17-7, 4.28 ERA) will start tonight for Boston, while Los Angeles counters with Walker Buehler (8-5, 2.62).
MLB Betting Trends
Boston
The Red Sox are 56-30 on the moneyline in road games this season. Boston is 18-4 in interleague games this season.
Los Angeles
The Dodgers are 21-24 in home games as a favorite between -125 and -175 this season. Los Angeles is 119-136 in interleague games since 1997.
Prediction:
Boston won the first two games with left-handed starting pitchers as the Dodgers opted to keep Max Muncy and Cody Bellinger on the bench in Game 2 until the hosts went to the bullpen. With its power bats back in the lineup tonight against Porcello and in the friendly confines of LA, I like the Dodgers' chances to pull within a game in the best-of-7 series.
