The Giants are on the verge of eliminating the Dodgers and punching their ticket to the NLCS following their 1-0 win in Game 3 of the NLDS on Monday night. Is San Francisco a good bet to cash again as an underdog or is there a better play on the board?

Evan Longoria homered for the only run of the game Monday as the Giants edged the Dodgers 1-0 to take a 2-1 lead in the NLDS. Longoria hit a 407-foot homer off Max Scherzer in the fifth that made all of the difference. It was his 10th career postseason homer and first since 2013, when he hit one for the Rays against the Red Sox in the ALDS. Game 4 of the NLDS will come Tuesday. Anthony DeSclafani appears likely to start for the Giants. The Dodgers could use either Tony Gonsolin or pitch Walker Buehler on short rest.

Cody Bellinger smacked a two-run double in the sixth inning on Saturday, propelling the Dodgers to a 9-2 victory over the Giants to even their NLDS series at one game apiece. After looking completely lost at the plate and going down on swinging third strikes in each of his first two at-bats, Bellinger jumped on the first pitch that he saw from Dominic Leone in the sixth inning, ripping a two-run double to left-center to extend the Dodgers lead to 4-1. He went down on a swinging third strike in his final at-bat as well, finishing the night 1-for-4. While it worked out in one particular at-bat on Saturday, it'll be interesting to see how long the Dodgers stick with the slumping Bellinger as the postseason progresses.

Giants vs. Dodgers Game 4 NLDS Prediction

The Giants are 8-3 in their last 11 games against the Dodgers and have won four of their last five games in L.A. They’re also 5-1 in their last six games as an underdog, are 42-13 in their last divisional matchups and have cashed 45 of their last 61 games on the road. The Dodgers, meanwhile, are just 4-9 in their last 13 games when facing an opponent with a winning percentage above .600.
