MLB Postseason, Wild Card Round
Milwaukee Brewers DFS Spin
Brent Suter will start for the Brewers on Wednesday in Game 1 of their Wild Card Series matchup against the Dodgers. Suter opened the condensed 2020 season as a reliever and his longest outing among his four starts was just four innings, but he pitched effectively in every role the Brewers tried, delivering a 3.13 ERA and 38/5 K/BB ratio over 31 2/3 total innings. He'll be facing off against Walker Buehler on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium.
Los Angeles Dodgers DFS Spin
Mookie Betts (hip) took a round of batting practice on Tuesday. Betts sat out of the Dodgers' final regular season game on Sunday after taking a pitch off his left hip on Saturday, but he is fully expected to be in the starting lineup for Game 1 of the Wild Card Series on Wednesday versus the Brewers. The 27-year-old outfielder put up a .927 OPS with 16 home runs, 39 RBI, 10 stolen bases, and 47 runs scored in 55 games this summer for the National League West champions.
Brewers vs. Dodgers Betting Prediction
The under is 6-0 in the Brewers’ last six road games, is 6-1 in their last seven games overall and is 5-1-1 in their last seven postseason matchups. On the other side, the under is 12-3-2 in the Dodgers’ last 17 home postseason games and is a perfect 5-0 in their last five games when facing a National League Central opponent. Milwaukee can’t hit but the Brewers can pitch, both from a starting standpoint and a bullpen standpoint so the under is the best play on the board.
