MLB Betting Trends
Boston
The Red Sox are 5-2 in their last seven Monday games. Boston is 2-7 in its last nine games versus the AL East.
Tampa Bay
The Rays are 12-2 in their last 14 home games. Tampa Bay is 5-0 in the last five Snell home starts.
Prediction:
Snell threw only 26 pitches in his first game back from surgery, but it was two scoreless frames and he looks like the pitcher who dominated last season and at times this year before the injury. His pitch count will be boosted some today and I tend to trust the Rays bullpen when they are tasked with bridging a lot of innings. Tampa Bay should get to Chacin enough to support its pitchers. I'm going with the Rays in this spot.
