Christian Vazquez helped lead the Red Sox offense as he finished 1-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs. Xander Bogaerts ended the contest 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two runs scored. Jackie Bradley Jr. was 1-for-2 with a solo homer plus two walks. Brock Holt ended the contest 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, a run scored and two RBIs. Rick Porcello picked up the win as he gave up two earned runs on eight hits with five strikeouts and no walks over five innings of work. Eduardo Rodriguez gets the start tonight for Boston as he enters with a 15-5 record, 3.92 ERA and 1.33 WHIP with 155 strikeouts over 160 2/3 innings.
