Tampa Bay trailed by two runs after the first inning Thursday night at Baltimore before coming back to claim a 5-2 victory. Austin Meadows paced the Rays offense as he finished 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, a walk and two runs scored. Willy Adames went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs. Matt Duffy ended the contest 1-for-4 with a double and a run. Oliver Drake picked up the win in relief as he gave up one hit with two strikeouts and one walk over 1 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball. Emilio Pagan threw a spotless ninth inning to record the save. Trevor Richards will draw the start tonight for Tampa Bay as he enters with a 3-12 record, 4.53 ERA and 1.42 WHIP with 109 strikeouts over 115 1/3 innings pitched.

Baltimore set a new MLB record for home runs surrendered Thursday night with still over a month of the season left to play as it lost 5-2 at home to Tampa Bay.
